Restaurant Deacon's House cafe - tasty and good value for money. Ideal when travelling with children.
To see: Falkirk wheel, Glasgow.
Hop-on hop-off bus service(s) is (are) very convenient.
Nice panorama from Arthur's Seat (hill).

We had a large very clean room
(303). Good value for money.
Staff were friendly and helpful. For us the breakfast was included in the price of room and was ok. But at £6 for porridge, for example, I would look elsewhere for breakfast, if you have room only accomodation.
No more than a 15 Minute walk from 90% of the City's attractions.
Top Tip
Found Edinburgh as expensive as London.
For Lunch try the Last Drop PH at the Grassmarket. Reasonable prices for an Edinburgh touristy Pub.

Bar Italia on Lothian Road was excellent. Easy walk into the city centre, 5 minute walk to Chambers St Museum and Royal Mile. Parking not too far away, but get precise directions, not just 'the next street'.

reception staff are like robots! its as if they are reading from a script, ordered morning paper twice and twice it turned up late and the wrong paper. also they make you give them 20 pounds off your credit card when you check in to cover any room charge costs!

We were initally located in room 208, however the traffic noise was too much for light sleepers and we were then moved to room 316 We would particularly commend Gustavo for his help in this matter.
For the company we would suggest that double glazing for the rooms which face the main road.
