Located on a tree lined terrace just off the well known Rothesay Terrace in Edinburgh's New Town area, Bonham is about 5 minutes walk to Haymarket railway station and well under ten minutes to the main shopping street, Princes Street.

An unobtrusive hotel, Bonham has just a small sign and 2 planters to indicate that this is not just another house in this lovely, mainly residential, area.
This stylish boutique hotel is a magnificent blend of old and new with modern funky colours against traditional oak paneling. The lobby has purple and black checked carpeting and a spiral seat in the window, ,as well as comfortable yet traditional lounge seating. The adjacent small meeting room matched this style with an antique ornate fireplace below the modern art on the walls.
Home to a permanent collection of modern Scottish art, the hotel encourages up and coming artists by displaying works throughout the hotel.

Standard bedrooms, of which there are around 40, have mostly zip link beds which are easily converted from oversize twin beds to a huge kingsize, offering guests the choice which some other hotels can't.
Rooms are individually decorated and usually use bright colours and matching fabrics, due to the nature of the building rooms are differing in size.
Facilties are just what you would expect of such a hotel and all have flat screen televisions which offer guests internet access and jukebox music. This is provided on a complimentary basis and guests are only expected to pay for the movies which are available. This hotel has a mini-bar in each room.
Bathrooms are modern, tiled and clean with shower & bath and offer Molton Brown toiletries for guests use.
The hotel are just launching their newly created designer superior rooms, which are already award winning, in black & white with subdued led lighting and huge windows overlooking the new town area.



The Bonham has a beautiful yet understated restaurant with the oak paneling as featured throughout the hotel, large mirrors and modern artwork. In use for breakfast, lunch and dinner the cuisine is contemporary European with an emphasis on organic and natural ingredients. The hotel has been awarded 2 AA rosettes.
Breakfast is a buffet style with all hot food being cooked to order.

There are 14 free car parking spaces behind the hotel which are allocated on a strictly first come first served basis. Additional car parking is available on street., although this is metered until 6.30pm. There is a public car park at Haymarket Station where guests can park for under £10 per day, this is approx 5 minutes walk from the hotel.
