Tigerlily Hotel
The hotel is located on an elegant street in Edinburgh's New Town, on George Street, which runs parallel to Princes Street and is very close to Charlotte Square. This is a great city centre location for shopping, sightseeing and eating out.

Tigerlily Hotel
Opened in 2006, the Tigerlily Hotel and Nighclub is a boutique property, which occupies a converted Georgian townhouse. Offering a striking contrast to the historical exterior, the lobby bar features chic, cloud-shaped chandeliers. The 33 guestrooms, spread over five floors, are decorated in an impeccably contemporary style, complemented by original paintings, sensuous fabrics, smart furnishings and lambswool rugs, which appear at your bedside, as if by magic. The hotel has its own nightclub, Lulu, in the basement, which means you can enjoy a night out without actually having to go out. Tigerlily Restaurant, meanwhile, serves a modern fusion of European cuisines with Asian influences.

The staff were very friendly and helpful, our bedroom was beautifully decorated with all the mod-cons you could possibly need (ipod, plasma tv, ghd's etc.) the bar had a really good atmosphere and the restaurant is well worth a visit - You will need to book in advance as it's very popular. (I had food envy and would recommend the coconut soup!). In summary, a wonderful place to stay. Make sure you utilise the hotel and not just use it as a base. Our weekend at Tigerlily was even more special chilling out in the hotel.
