Loved by guests who return to it over and over again, Channings Hotel offers that wonderful combination of a quiet scenic location that is none the less easily walkable from the city centre. Amongst its many attractions are its Georgian exterior, its country house ambience and its secluded patio garden where you can enjoy a pre-dinner drink in fine weather.

Click on a tab to see what they said ...Channings enjoys a quiet location, set on a cobbled street overlooking private gardens, yet is only 10 minutes walk from the west end, where you can explore the city's many tourist attractions, such as Princes Street, the main shopping area overlooking Edinburgh Castle.
Should you wish to stay very close to home, Channings is just a short stroll from the very fashionable area of Stockbridge, often described as a 'village within the city'. Relax and unwind as you enjoy the vibrant cafe-culture that has developed and wander through the many one of a kind boutiques and galleries which have emerged in recent years, making this one of Edinburgh's trendiest areas.
