As a single traveller I was delighted to be given a room on the front with a view of Fettes College.The concierge and evening restaurant staff extemely helpful and polite. I wish the same could be said about the breakfast staff. I asked if it were possible to have a pancake,not an outrageous request for a hotel of this rating. Waitress replied that she'd ask, but what would I like if not possible! Needless to say I was given bacon and sausage that had obviously been cooked for a good while. Breakfast spoiled what was otherwise a lovely experience.

The Hotel was excellent, very upmarket with some fantastic features. The food in bar was of a high standard and the breakfast outstanding. Great value for money.

The Channgings Hotel was lovely quiet and peaceful, cosey and warm, very friendly staff. Breakfast was a great start to the day.

a very warm welcome from reception and concierge. Rooms was clean and v. homely. Bar & restaurant staff were equally friendly and helpful. v. close to all attractions and only a 10 min walk to Princes St and Royal Mile.

Excellent and friendly hotel with excellent quality restaurant. Room condition - a bit "tired." Close to City Centre but in quiet scenic location

The Hotel is lovely but the staff really do make this hotel excellent. Bedroom was a little smaller than I expected for the price of the hotel, although had everything you'd need.
