Clean, spacious room and very comfortable. Excellent food, both dinner and breakfast. Would definately stay here again. The theatre was only a couple of minutes walk from the hotel .... ideal location!
Top Tip
Stayed here whilst in Edinburgh to see a show at The Playhouse.

when we arrived at the hotel we got told that they didn't have enough rooms for all the group and that some of us had to go to another hotel, our group got split to our great disappointment as we booked well in advance to make sure that this sort of problems would not have occured. my room was very small and crumped. there was only warm water and no cold. even the wc was flushed with warm water. One of the other guest rooms didn't have a handle on the bathroom door. there were no hardryers in the rooms, something that would be expected in this category hotel. Most of the group had rooms in the basement and walk by people could see inside the room window. this is a great privacy issue that in a hotel of this type should be avoided.
Top Tip
check directly with the hotel 2 days in advance before departure.

Hotel is great location, our room 3G rather small, the bathroom was dirty ie black mould round bath and on tiles. Grouting on some of tiles was missing
