Our Review

An Edinburgh landmark, peerlessly stylish, the Balmoral boasts a prime location at number one Princes Street and is therefore an excellent base from which to explore the city. Inside, it provides elegant accommodation, combining contemporary design with original features. There is a range of facilities on offer, including a Spa, a brasserie and a Michelin-starred restaurant. The Balmoral will ensure a relaxing and opulent experience for guests.

     Rooms were a bit small and out dated for a 5* hotel ...             extremely comfortable hotel...             Superb room overlooking the castle and Princes Street,...             rooms were perfect large and comfortable...             you have to ask for a (complementary)tea/coffee tray in your room. ...             Biggest bed I've ever seen! ...              only had a 5' (Queen size) bed....             in a hotel of this standard a 6' (King size) should be the norm,...             No tea/coffe making facilities...             No complimentary 'anything' in the room at all....              did not think the rooms warranted 5 star....             fairly basic accomodation ...
