Our Review

With just nine rooms, the Bank Hotel is one of the smallest properties in Edinburgh city centre. Each guestroom is individually themed on a famous Scot, making this a great escape from the chain hotels where all rooms are similar. The location is a double edged sword: it’s right on the Royal Mile, which is the perfect city centre location, but it can be busy at night and may not suit light sleepers. Given the limited accommodation, it’s quite difficult to get availability at the Bank Hotel, so you do need to book early.

The hotel is situated in an enviable location on the Royal Mile, surrounded by restaurants and bars. Just a few minutes walk from Princes Street. The Bank hotel is one of only a handful of hotels which are located right on the royal mile.

     excellent location.central for pubs and social life...             castle is a 10 minute uphill walk,...             perfect for sightseeing in Edinburgh...             Princes St which is the main shopping area is a ten minute walk across north bridge...              right on the Royal Mile ...             can't get any more central....             noisy at night so if you're a light sleeper, be prepared to be disturbed...             right in the heart of one of the best cities in the world! ...             Fantastic location...
